What is your professional background?

After graduating from UW-La Crosse, I took a position on the American Queen where I was the Sports & Activities Coordinator. It was an amazing opportunity to travel and meet people from all over the world. After I returned to land, I worked in healthcare as a Treatment Coordinator in an orthodontic office for nearly 8 years. From there I jumped into a manufacturing environment in an HR capacity. There is where I had the opportunity to be involved in professional development seminars and trainings. This is where I began to understand my passion for self discovery and self awareness. I began to realize things about myself that affected every area of my life; I began to understand who I was. It became really important for me to help others do the same.

What are the best books that you have read?

My first grade teacher gave me the gift of a book that was first in its series. From the moment I opened the pages to "Little House in the Big Woods", by Laura Ingalls Wilder, I was hooked. I read the entire series and could often be found up in a tree reading.

Where do you like to travel?

I love to camp!

What is your family information?

It's complicated. (That's a joke.) It's actually quite simple: I am dating an amazing man named Jason who has 2 incredible children named Haley and Hunter. I have 3 siblings who are crazy in very different ways; a younger sister, a twin brother and an older brother. Their spouses are awesome additions to our family. We call ourselves Team B and are all extremely different, but we always have respectful and intellectual conversations which I appreciate. My mom definitely gets picked on the most and is the shortest of us all, but she also has the biggest heart. My dad loved being in nature and passed on the love of everything outdoors to my siblings and I. He lets us know that he is still close by during our adventures and we enjoy sharing stories about moments when we feel his presence. I am also blessed to have 2 nephews and 5 nieces. We've shared tons of laughs and I am proud of all of them every single day.

What is your favorite hobby?

Riding my bike! I have a road bike and a mountain bike and always look for opportunities to hit the trails and have a Sunday Funday!

If you could have dinner with anyone (past or present) who would it be?

My dad. We'd grill out and have some venison and mashed potatoes with absolutely no lumps and a pound of butter and cream. We would talk about any new inventions he was working on and if we were lucky, would see some deer in the woods in his backyard.

What is your favorite food?

I absolutely love salty, buttery popcorn.

What song describes your life?

Sweetest Decline by Beth Orton
