It is much more than trying harder or learning a new set of skills. Improving your effectiveness as a leader involves taking a closer look at the patterns and processes of life. InitiativeOne processes vary dependent upon the objectives. Our first step is to perform a “climate survey.” This survey is used to analyze core issues that require attention. The survey and recommendations are then presented to the client and a customized format is created.
Nine, three hour weekly meetings drives our leadership development process. The ideal group size is between 10 and 15 participants. The group interaction provides a “forum” to define and improve positive behaviors that lead to open transparent communication, positive accountability, and effective decision making. Individual participants have 20 to 45 minutes of homework each day, which consists of reading and/or listening to an audio CD on positive leadership principles. There is also a weekly personal development plan assignment to create and determine personal growth needs based on review of a “life inventory” followed by personal prioritization of goals.
