Accelerating Change - Leading with results

The InitiativeOne proprietary processes underscore behaviors, thinking and attitudes that produce significant and sustainable results. The processes are differentiated by our “on site” facilitation within the organization where we address organizational challenges specific to the client we are engaged with. The foundational design is based on published business case studies and evidence based leadership principles to challenge teams in how they function, how they behave, how they make decisions, and how they are viewed by the organization. Most often, leaders and teams are not aware of unintended consequences of communications, decisions and behaviors that the organization is “reading” from not just the “formal channels” but more importantly the “informal channels”. We work with leaders to bring forth the “sacred cows” in the organization, and when the team is ready the issues become neutralized therefore eliminating the negative energy and fear they produce. By focusing on our client’s specific challenges, we are able to assist the team to move longstanding barriers out of the way and create a new path for results and productivity. (The IOne process is customized to the client environment, the IOne facilitator works within the culture, within the conflict, within the issues that hold the organization back from greater results)

Initiative One: iOne Services

“Once a positive change has been initiated, minds open and horizons broaden to form new visions of the future”

Overview We believe in lifelong learning. It is much more than trying harder or learning a new set of skills. Improving your effectiveness as a leader involves taking a closer look at the patterns and processes of life. InitiativeOne processes vary dependent upon the objectives. Our first step is to perform a “climate survey.” This survey is used to analyze core issues that require attention. The survey and recommendations are then presented to the client and a customized format is created.

Nine, three hour weekly meetings drives our leadership development process. The ideal group size is between 10 and 15 participants. The group interaction provides a “forum” to define and improve positive behaviors that lead to open transparent communication, positive accountability, and effective decision making. Individual participants have 20 to 45 minutes of homework each day, which consists of reading and/or listening to an audio CD on positive leadership principles. There is also a weekly personal development plan assignment to create and determine personal growth needs based on review of a “life inventory” followed by personal prioritization of goals.

Unique Difference Deep organizational change does not result from strategic initiatives, but from a consistent commitment to and modeling of new and desired leadership behaviors by the key influential leaders. InitiativeOne is not a fad-driven motivational seminar or a weekend blitz to be forgotten within a few days. Our team utilizes unique testing and evaluation tools designed to help identify attitudes and roadblocks that undermine an individual’s and team’s progress and success. Most organizations suffer from unexamined attitudes, limiting beliefs and an overall lack of accountability. They fail to set goals that have real value and do not develop action plans that focus on critical objectives.

Our processes are designed to position your company for increased success by teaching these leaders specific skills, thinking habits and relational essentials. Our process gauges leaders according to who they are, not for what they do.
